Port Blair, Nov 05: The Andaman Safari Auto Cross 2017 organised by the Andaman Safaris in association with YCCI under the aegis of FMSCI ended with a great success today.
A total number of 53 participants tried their hand in the Andaman’s first Mega Motor Sports Event, AUTO CROSS 2017. The District Commissioner, South Andaman, Mr Udit Prakash Rai flagged off the race this morning at 09:00am.
Both female and male participated in the event. Around 05 participants were female which, is a matter of pride for these islands.
Male contestant Faiz Asif was awarded with the best male driver whereas Solomen Soni was awarded with the best female driver.
During the evening Celebrity Guest Rupal Patel and Radha Krishnan Dutt both popular TV celebrities handed over the cup to the best participants. Padmashree Awardee, Mr Naresh Chander Lall was the Guest of Honour in the event.
