Port Blair, Nov 01: In yet another case of OFC damage, most of the part of North and Middle Andaman suffered BSNL network blackout for two long days. As per details due to OFC damage during NHIDCL works near Chouldari, all mobile and landline network of BSNL collapsed right from Jirkatang region to North Andaman region.
While in other areas like Baratang and Mayabunder luckily Airtel network was working anyhow, but areas like Kalighat were worst hit as in Kalighat region there is no Airtel Tower.
Such frequent cases of OFC damage is leaving public of entire Middle and North Andaman totally isolated, causing huge loss and inconvenience to general public of the region.
Public of North and Middle Andaman questions that why it took two long days to rectify the faults, which is highest level of unprofessionalism.
