Diglipur, October 31: Around 12.5 Kgs of Zarda has been seized from a STS Bus, Express D2, bearing registration number AN01 A5836, during a routine check up by the Diglipur Police Unit. As per reports, the aforesaid Bus started from Port Blair at around 07:30am and reaches Diglipur at 07:30pm this evening.
The Bus Driver and Conductor in their statement to police said that they don’t know anything about the package.
The team consisting of SI Roashan George, PC Ganesh Chander Das, IRBn Rohan Kumar and HG Tapas Biswas conducted the raid.
