Port Blair, Oct 29: It is informed to the General public that on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2017, the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a Blood donation camp will be arranged at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair, in coordination with the Andaman and Nicobar AIDS Control Society. A Donor who is healthy, fit and not suffering from any transmittable disease can donate blood. Donors must be between 18 to 60 yrs age and should have weight of minimum 45kg. Donors hemoglobin level should be 12.5 gm % or more. Donor can again donate blood after three months of last donation of blood. Donors shall not donate blood on empty stomach.
Those who are willing to donate blood voluntarily, on this noble occasion, may attend Blood Bank, GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair from 9.00AM onwards on 31st October, 2017.
