Port Blair, October 22: A Minor Girl, who is married since one and a half year and was staying happily with her husband somewhere in the Bambooflat area was found pregnant by a Doctor to whom she went for a check-up.
After check up the girl was found Pregnant and also the Doctor came to know the age of the girl, the Doctor immediately reported the matter to the Bambooflat Police Station following which the husband of the Minor Girl has been arrested by the Bambooflat Police Unit.
A case of POCSO was registered against the accused yesterday. Further details are awaited.
