Diglipur, Oct 22: Kali Puja was celebrated in Diglipur Island with
pomp and religious fervor on 19 October. A large number of devotees visited the pandals house at Vegetable market, Children Park, Aerial Bay and Kalighat bazaar to offer prayers to the goddess on the auspicious day.
This puja was celebrated for three days. Devotees also stood in long
queues at the pandals to offer puja. The Vegetable Market goddess immersion will be done on 22 October.
