Port Blair, Oct 17: Under the influence of well-marked Low Pressure Area over Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Bay of Bengal, strong Southwest toWesterly wind speed between 35to45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph and rough to very rough seas likely along and off Andaman and Nicobar coasts. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea during next 24 hrs. The general public is advised to take precautionary measures and in case of any emergency contact in the phone numbers of State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres.
