Mayabunder Oct 13: Entire region of Mayabunder is once again facing serious shortage of LPG cylinders, leaving general public high and dry.
According to reports since last few months residents of the area are not getting filled LPG cylinders on time.
Residents complain that they have to wait for the LPG truck for several hours and even if the truck arrives, many have to return empty handed after traveling a distance of around 15-20 kms.
Most affected area under Mayabunder are the remote villages such as Karmatang(College), Rampur, Danapur, Pokhadera. Out of these sufferers, many are Govt Servants who usually have to take leave from office to get their LPG cylinders.
It has been learnt that the matter has already been highlighted to the concerned officials but nothing has been done yet, in this regard.
