Port Blair, Oct 09: The Directorate of Tourism, A&N Administration intends to participate in Travel & Tourism fairs organized at different locations in mainland for tourism promotion. The locations of these Travel & Tourism fairs for the year 2017-18 for Chennai is from 16th to 18th February, 2018 and space provided will be 27 sq. mtr and for Bangalore is from 23rd to 25th February, 2018 will be 27 sq.mtrPort Blair, Oct 09: The Directorate of Tourism, A&N Administration intends to participate in Travel & Tourism fairs organized at different locations in mainland for tourism promotion. The locations of these Travel & Tourism fairs for the year 2017-18 for Chennai is from 16th to 18th February, 2018 and space provided will be 27 sq. mtr and for Bangalore is from 23rd to 25th February, 2018 will be 27 sq.mtr The expenditure towards journey, lodging, boarding etc will have to be borne by the participants. Tourism department will provide free space with required number of table and chairs within the departmental counters at all the locations.
The Island based Tour Operator/Travel Agencies, who are enlisted with this Directorate and intend to participate in the above said Travel & Tourism Fairs should submit their willingness in writing along with copy of the enlistment letter and security deposit of Rs. 10,000/- to this Directorate on or before October 18, 2017. The security deposit is to ensure their participation and in case of failure in participating, the security deposit will be forfeited.
