Port Blair, October 09: The Pahargaon Police Unit has seized 16 plants of Ganja on 05th of October from the house of accused Parmeshwar, 32 years, Resident of Bhathubasthi. As per reports, the accused planted most of the plants in his Garden in between other heavy plants to safeguard himself.
But strict vigilance of the Pahargaon Police Unit in their jurisdiction didn’t let it happen. On a tip off, a team headed by SHO Pahargaon Police Unit Inspector Sahil Shamsuddin, Sub-Inspector P Jeevan, Head Constable Murgeshan, Police Constable Bhaskar Rao, PC Emamuddin Khan and PC Vijay Ram under the overall supervision of the then DySP South Andaman, B Saigal raided the house of the accused and seized the plants weighing around 156 grams.
Appropriate action was taken against the accused and the accused his presently in the judicial custody.
