Billyground, Sep 18: Due to ongoing cyclonic weather the power supply disrupted at the entire North & Middle Andaman on the evening of 16th September, 2017 which got restored today after 44 hours.
Due to the Cyclonic Weather many trees reportedly fell on Electric Line at Baratang region, making total blackout in the region. The Electricity Department tried to charge the lines in between but due to death of a bird in between 11KV lines, restoration failed. Later the obstruction was removed and power was resumed.
