Port Blair, Sep 01: South Andaman District Police is committed to eradicate the menace of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances from the islands. In their endeavor to prove zero tolerance towards such social evils a vigil team of Police personnel from PS Pahargaon developed intelligence regarding smuggling of Ganja. Immediately a raiding team headed by Insp. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO, PS Pahargoan and comprising of SI P. Jeevan, HC/P. Babu Rao, PC/Emamuddin Khan, PC/Bhaskar Rao reached Bathubasti truck stand and nabbed the suspect who arrived on the spot with a bag. On search of bag, 750 Grams of prohibited contraband (Ganja) was recovered.
