Port Blair, Aug 30: A police team of PS Ograbraj recovered 240 Nos. packet of Baghban 69 Zarda in a white colour plastic bag on 27/08/2017.
On 27/08/2017, information was received at PS Ograbraj that one white colour plastic bag has been thrown near Loha Barrack, Ograbraj from a white colour vehicle, whose Registration number was not seen. Upon this Inspector Shabana Haneef, SHO PS Ograbraj along with PC/2846 Anupam Dutta, PS Ograbraj and PC/453 K. Mohd Azhar, PS Ograbraj reached the spot and on checking the above plastic bag 06 Nos. black packets each containing 40 nos. contraband “Baghban 69 Zarda Pkts.” (Total 240 Nos. Zarda Pkt.) was found. The same has been handed over to concerned Food Safety Officer for further necessary action.
