Port Blair, August 29: Founders, members and Office bearers of Yuvasakthi, a non¬governmental Organisation of Port Blair has wholeheartedly congratulated Mr.K.Ganeshan, Councillor Ward No.8 and former Chairman, PBMC, Mrs. Ratna Kannan, social worker and former Chairperson of SWAB as well as Mrs.Sheela Singh, Social worker and former Chairperson of Municipal Council on being nominated members of the newly constituted Family Welfare Committee by the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority cum Ld.District & Sessions Judge, A&N Islands.
An organisation committed for the socio-economic empowerment of women since 2003 has come across myriad of family and domestic related women issues which were resolved with the inimitable cooperation of SWAB. The nominated members are known for their ability, competency and dedication in the sphere of social work and with their association, the yeomen services of Family Welfare Committee will certainly go a long way in resolving the issues, sources said.
