Port Blair, Aug 10: All India radio Port Blair will broadcast address by Hon,ble President of India Mr. Ramnath Kovind to the nation on the eve of Independence Day, at 1900hr and address by Lt. Governor of A&N Islands Professor Jagdish Mukhi to the Islanders at 2000 hrs on 14th August 2017.
AIR Port Blair will broadcast LIVE the National Flag Hoisting ceremony and address of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the nation from Red Fort from 0705hrs onwards, on 15th August 2017
From 0850hrs onwards there will be LIVE broadcast of Flag Hoisting ceremony and address to the Islanders by Lt. Governor Professor Shri Jagdish Mukhi from Netaji Stadium. Commentators are Shri Shibu George, Programme Executive and Shri Zakir Hussain, Senior Grade Announcer.
From 1030hrs. Special Bilingual Poetic symposium will be broadcast.
