Port Blair, Aug 10: A truck,” OM Shiva Shakti Transport” loaded with six tons of Rice Overturned near Danapur at Mayabunder area today.
As per details, the truck loaded six tons of Rice from the Hubs of Civil Supply of Mayabunder region and was going towards Fair Price Shops at Rest Camp near Tugapur.
But when the truck reached near the turning of Danapur area of Mayabunder region and when the truck driver Ramu was giving side to another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, it suddenly overturned to its left side.
When the truck overturned, three laborers were inside the vehicle, but somehow the driver and all laborers survived the accident without any injury.
Police team Mayabunder immediately reached at the spot and after investigation registered a case under A &N Motor Vehicle Acts.
