Port Blair, July 19: The Directorate of IP&T in association with Film & Television Institute of India, Pune is organizing a ‘basic acting workshop’ for children at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Panchawati, Rangat. This course was inaugurated by the Publicity Officer, Directorate of IP&T, Shri T. N. Meena in the presence of Shri. Devendra Nath, Course Director, Shri Shiva Kumar, Course Coordinator, Shri. Enos Kirketta, Vice Principal and teachers of the school today. About 35 students are participating in this basic acting workshop for Children. Addressing the students and others, the chief guest encouraged the students to participate in this acting course and gain confidence and become creative besides adopting acting as a profession in future. He also praised the FTII for rendering their help for this course to Isles children. Course Director, Shri. Devendra Nath advised the children to be alert and active with a vigilant mind, which is a need for the time. Acting course is focusing to make the young generation confident and creative in a competitive world and preparing them responsible citizens of India, he said.
Film Television Institute of India team also had a creative interaction with parents of the participants of (FTII) basic acting workshop for children. This course will conclude on Aug 2, 2017.
