Port Blair, July 19: To amalgamate the vision of Green and Clean environment, tree plantation drive was undertaken in Coast Guard Residential area on 19 Jul 2017. The aim of the event was to create enthusiasm among masses towards forest conservation. The service has been effectively contributing towards Prime Minister’s visionary step of Green and Clean India campaign, wherein measures have been put in place towards enhanced awareness about environment. Green environment is essential for our future. Therefore, sustained efforts are required by one and all for safe and healthy environmental practices for strengthening the eco system in long run.
