Port Blair, July 17: Indian Coast Guard conducted a beach cleanup drive at Corbyn’s Cove beach during week end in continuation of its efforts towards “Swachh Sagar Abhiyaan” in Andaman and Nicobar Region.
Beach cleanup was conducted by Indian Coast Guard Ship Durga Bai Deshmukh and C-428, wherein approximately 300 mtrs of beach was cleaned. About 100 Kgs of garbage was collected and handed over to PBMC for disposal. The event was witnessed and applauded by locals. During the cleanup drive banners were displayed to sensitize the locals and tourists.
