Port Blair, Jul 16: In the month of August, the Andaman and Nicobar Police Department reverted 44 ASIs to Head Constable and subsequently issued another order to prepare the entire selection list once again.
The effected police jawans in turn challenged the demotion in the Supreme Court later. Sources said that these 44 jawans have now withdrawn their case from Supreme Court. The case is now dismissed as withdrawn.
