Port Blair, July 14: On 11/07/2017 a case vide crime no. 65/17 U/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Chatham on the complaint of Smti Nana Sundri (46)yrs W /o Late. A. Samuel R/o Prem Nagar, behind Kanya Asram regarding snatching of her gold chain from her neck weighing 24 gms on 11/07/2017 by the pillion rider of a scooty at Delanipur near AIR and escaped. Samuel R/o Prem Nagar, behind Kanya Asram regarding snatching of her gold chain from her neck weighing 24 gms on 11/07/2017 by the pillion rider of a scooty at Delanipur near AIR and escaped.
The police team of PS Chatham headed by SI Abdul Rahman SHO Chatham made sincere efforts under the supervision of Shri M.A. Naushad, SDPO/SA (i/c) which swung into action and immediately detected the case within a day by apprehending three culprits involved in the case, namely (1) Ziaul Islam @ Tharique (30) yrs Pvt. Worker R/o Dignabad, (2) N. Vasant Rao (26) yrs R/o Supply Line(scooty rider) and (3) Gogi Subramaniam(18) yrs Pvt. Worker R/o Andra Pradesh and recovered the snatched property. All the accused persons are being produced before the Ld. Court at Port Blair. Further investigation of the case continues.
