Port Blair, July 07: The Central Crime Station of Andaman Nicobar Police today conducted a massive drive to curb alcohol menace in the entire Port Blair City. As per reports, during the drive the CCS team conducted several raids in different parts of the city like Bhathubasthi, Haddo, Aberdeen Bazaar, Dollygunj, Junglighat, Dairyfarm etc. and arrested 07 bootleggers from in and around the city.
As per sources, around 30-35 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor was seized during the drive. General Public appreciated the effort of the CCS Unit and was very happy to see the Unit working so devotedly to curb the alcohol menace in the city.
The entire drive was done under the leadership of Station House Officer, CCS Unit Inspector Mahesh Kumar Yadav. The CCS Unit has taken appropriate action against the 07 bootleggers.
