Diglipur, June 28: Butterflies the NGO on 27 June, 2017 formed network group of “Adolescents against Gender Violence” in 6 villages of North Andaman with the objective of reducing the number of child abuse, child marriage and protection of girl’s rights. This group will play a vital role to reduce gender violence against girls in villages. During the course of implementation of the project, they will disseminate the information regarding child marriage. Shri Sukant S.Ballabh DySP, Diglipur and Police personnel addressed the gathering of 60 children about Child Marriage Act, Traffic rules, JJB,CWC, Cyber Crime and Motor Vehicle Act. Shri Prasanna Rao, Field Co-coordinator Butterflies threw light on various duties and responsibilities as a member of the Network Group during this session.
