Diglipur, Jun 28: Butterflies in collaboration with CIAI, Italy launched its 12th branch of Children’s Development Khazana (CDK) on 28th June 2017 at Radhanagar, Diglipur. Pramukh, Diglipur Shri Shyamal Mondal launched this programme at Samiti Complex, CDK was conceptualized and initiated by Butterflies in the year 2001 at Delhi, with the vision of Economic empowerment and personal development of the poor and marginalized children/adolescence. Presently this program is spanned over 8 countries with 156 branches. This program was initiated in Andaman in 2013 and presently having about 670 children account holder. On this occasion Smti Lalita Tigga BDO Diglipur, Miss Bulbul Mistry Pradhan Sitanagar handed over CDK documents to child volunteer manager Mr.Kumar, ShibRam and Asst Child Volunteer manager Kumari, Ithika Mistry.
At Outset,Mr Kaushil Kumar Haldar, Focal person of CDK highlighted the concept and objective of CDK. On this occasion Mr. Prasanna Rao Field Coordinator, North Andaman and Miss Ganga Bhawani, Field Coordinator, Little Andaman Motivated the children to develop the saving habit.
