Port Blair, Jun 06: On 04.06.2017, Shri Rajesh Malik, Director General of Police A&N Islands has inaugurated the newly constructed building of Police Out Post Long Island. In the inaugural function, Shri Ingit Pratap Singh, SP(D) N&MA, Shri R.K Pandey, SP CID, Shri. George Lalu, SDPO Rangat and other officers were present. The new premises of Out Post Long Island is having sufficient space for office of I/C OP, Lock up, Recreation Hall, Dining Hall, Kitchen and Barracks and other amenities for staff will help in proper functioning of Police and strengthening of coastal security. The building leaves a milestone for the people and sets an example of service, honesty and dedication.
