Port Blair, June 09: A dead body was found floating at the Sea near Chatham this morning. However, the dead body has not been recovered by the Police yet.
As per reports, at around 09:30 am some staffs of a tourist boat has seen a dead body floating near the Chatham Jetty following which information was conveyed to the Police.
Sources said that as the information was received a team of Police Marine Force and police personnel of Chatham Police Station conducted a search in the sea but unfortunately they didn’t found any dead body floating.
Andaman Sheekha has learnt that a missing report of an old man is also registered in the Chatham Police Station and the old man is a resident of Haddo. Further details are still awaited.
