Diglipur, May 31: Girls continue to dominate the CBSE Class XII results. Yet again all five toppers are girls. Shilpi Mondal from GSSS Subhashgram Diglipur has scored highest marks in Arts Stream.
She got 95% marks in overall with 97 in Political Science, 95 in Hindi and 96 in Geography. Shilpi told Andaman Sheekha that,” Hard work is essential but one has to have good luck as well”.
She studied class IX & X from Model School, Sitanagar and as she believes in hard ward she never went for tuitions.
Her father Shri Harasit Kumar Mandal who is a PST teacher at Diglipur is overwhelmed with his daughter’s achievement.
“I am very happy about Shilpi’s accomplishment as she has worked really hard and has been consistent with her studies round the year and finally her hard work has borne fruits,” said Golapi Mondal mother of Shilpi.
She said that parents should not pressurize their children for tuitions. Proper study at home can also bring success.
When asked about her future plans she said that she wants to become a teacher after joining JBT.
