Port Blair, June 18: The State President, BJP, R Mohan has written a letter of objection to the Lt Governor and the Chief Secretary, AN Administration wherein he has at the first, recorded his gratitude to the Lt Governor, ANI for granting of free bus services to the students of these islands and then objected that, the Party has recorded its grievances on the Press release published in the Daily Telegrams where in it has been mentioned that leader of a particular political party had advocated for such facility before the Administrator.
“The Party took this press release as a release from the office of the Lt Governor under his direction and objected to it. Since vide Party’s letter No: BJP/ANI/LG/2011/1595 dt 2nd November, 2011the State President had already requested to the Lt. Governor and Chief SEcretary for allowing free transportation to the students for the to and fro journeys to their schools irrespective of all Islands .
The Party also hoped that the Administrator will accept this objection very sportingly,” Mohan said in his letter.
