Port Blair, May 18: The Officers and Staff of Department of Environment &Forests, Andaman & Nicobar Administration have mourned the sudden and untimely demise of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Shri Anil Madhav Dave. A condolence message from the department has stated that he has dedicated his life for various environmental causes and ecological security. His passionate efforts in addressing climate change and protection of Narmada River were widely acknowledged.
