Port Blair, Apr 23: The Forest unit of Diglipur has postponed the Physical Test for Forest Labourers at Diglipur but to the utter dismay of local youths instead of giving wide publicity to this postponement notice, the department preferred age old trick of pasting small posters at Diglipur to inform candidates about postponement.
Unaware of this fact and also in great confusion large number of youths are still travelling almost daily to Diglipur. “We heard about the postponement but there is no press communication so we can’t take chance,” said a youth before getting inside the Diglipur Bus at Port.
When contact an official of Forest Department, who does not want his name to be quoted confirmed that the Physical Test has been postponed but failed to give further details.
