Port Blair, Apr 12: The 33rd National Convention of Environmental Engineers, being organized by Dhanbad Local Centre of the Institution under the aegis ofthe Environmental Engineering Division on the theme, “STATUS OFTECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT TO MEET THE ENVIRONMENTAL NORMS FOR INDIAN INDUSTRIES” is being held at Dhanbad during August 25-26, 2017. National Convention is the Apex annual activity of a particular Engineering Division of The Institution of Engineers(India).
Further, an important part of National Convention is the FELICITATIONOF EMINENT ENGINEERS those who have contributed significantly to theEnvironmental Engineering profession during the span of their career.These personalities of eminence are requested to share their experiences
on the occasion for the benefit of the participants and the society atlarge.
Any Indian national, who is an Engineer by profession and has worked inthe Environmental Engineering field and has made noteworthycontribution, is eligible for the award. It is not mandatory to be a corporate member of IEI.
Therefore applications are invited from engineeringpersonalities of eminence, serving in the A & N Islands, for the purpose of felicitation at the saidConvention, giving details of his/ her outstanding contribution, alongwith a brief Bio-data (max. of three pages), with contact address,telephone number, email, Membership of IEI (if any), Award received ifany from IEI & others details.
