Diglipur, Apr 09: The Annual Festival of Panguni Uttiram was celebrated at Diglipur on 09 April. Devotees flock in thousands to the Murugan Temple. The festival which was started with Kappukattu ceremony one week ago was completed today with walking on sacred fire. During these days special puja, arathi, debarathani, Thiruvilakku puja was held. The ceremony ended with removal of Kappu and Annadanam. Large number of devotees across the islands participated in the festival to get the blessings of the Almighty. The police department made elaborate arrangements on this occasion for the smooth movement of public.
