Radhanagar,Apr 07: A person was arrested today by PS Diglipur under POCSO Act. As per the sources the person had an aggravated sexual intercourse with a minor girl at Radhanagar area of Diglipur.
When the girl revealed that she got pregnant, the accused reportedly married her.
But when the girl reached hospital for checkup, the hospital authorities alerted the Police Department. The Police unit soon arrested the person under POCSO Act and as per details he will be produced before the Additional Session Court at Port Blair tomorrow.
