Port Blair, Mar 31: Today, BJP delegation camp at Delhi, under the leadership of Shri. Vishal Jolly, State President, BJP, A & N Islands met with Shri. Raj Nath Singh, Home Mister, Govt. of India and discussed various development issues related to the Islands viz. issue of Tsunami affected farmers, regularization of DRM, regularization of Old encroachment / access land, and requested Hon’ble Home Minister to sort out these issues during his forthcoming visit to the Islands.
The delegation also met Shri. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and thanked him for the approval of under sea Optical Cable and other developmental projects. Further the delegation invited him to visit to the islands. The Prime Minister accepted the invitation and assured the delegation the visit will be on his priority in near future.
