Port Blair, Mar 30: Andaman College conducted the inter-departmental Kabaddi tournament on 29th March 2017 in a event of Annual sports. Shri Narayan Murthy, the veteran and well known sports personality of these Islands, was the chief guest, Dr. R. Dev Das, Principal,ANCOL, was the guest of honour on this occasion.
During his address, the chief guest appreciated the effortS of the Administration and College authorities to develop the play ground within record time and advised the Students to keep the ground neat and clean. Further, he appreciated the entire students for their sportsman spirit and advised them to maintain their fitness. In his welcome speech, Dr.R. Dev Das reminded all the players about the rules and regulations and to maintain the code of conduct and to be disciplined in sports and life as well.
The girls of B.Com (General) defeated BA (Economics) and the boys of B.Com (CS) defeated B.Com (General) in the final match.
