Port Blair, Mar 23: A two day training programme on Vector Borne Diseases for Medical Officers of Health Services and Junior Residents of ANIIMS was conducted in the Auditorium of GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair by Directorate of Health Services in association with UT Health Mission (A&N Islands) concluded today. Dr. S P Burma, Medical Superintendent, GB Pant Hospital Port Blair inaugurated the 1st batch training and Maj. Gen. RP Choubey, VSM, Director (ANIIMS ) was the chief guest for the 2nd batch.
Dr. Shiv Shankar Singh, Consultant Medicine, GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director (Health) and Dr.Amitabha De, Deputy Director(Malaria)/Joint Secretary(NVBDCP) were the resource persons for the training. Altogether 32 medical officers attended the training.
