Diglipur, Mar 15: In yet another interesting news from North Andaman’s Diglipur Island, an accused reportedly escaped from police team by biting one police Jawan.
According to details today following suspicion when a police team of PS Diglipur conducted search of Mr. Ashim Mondal, s/o Anil Mondal, a resident of Madhupur Village, the police team recovered nearly 100 grams of Ganja from his possession.
But to the utter shock of the Police team, the said person escaped from area by biting one of the police personnel’s hand, with the help of his brother Ashok Mondal.
The police team however arrested the Ashok Mondal later but the main accused is still absconding. The PS Diglipur has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
