Diglipur, Mar 15: A theft case was reported to the PS Diglipur early this morning.
Mr. Mahim Das, who is having a shop at Subhashgram bazaar namely Pratima Enterprises had complained that on 13th March, while he alongwith his family went to picnic at Lamia Bay, theft happened at his home at Sardar Tikry, Subhash Gram.
When he returned back on same day he found nothing suspicious but on the next day late evening hours when he opened his locker, he found that some cash and gold ornaments are missing.
On search he found that 6 lakh rupee cash and gold ornaments were missing. Soon he reported the matter to the police.
Police after enquiry arrested three persons namely Kamal, Sanjeev and Omier, who were workers of his hollow block industry at his home. All the missing money and gold have been recovered from the accused personnel, it is learnt.
