Port Blair, Mar 10: The Andaman & Nicobar Kayaking and Canoeing Association will felicitate 19 young children (13 Girls and 6 boy) who won laurels for the Islands by winning 7 Gold 8 Silver 34 and Bronze Medals in 21 different events in the 27th National Championships held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh from 9th to 13th January 2017 tomorrow at the Buddha, Hotel TSG Emerald View Hotel , Phonix Bay, Port Blair at 5pm .
Certificates received from The Indian Kayaking & Canoeing Association, New Delhi would be handed over to the deserving sportspersons and Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry would also be honoring them with Cash Prizes. The children would be departing on 14th March from Port Blair for the International Training Camp to be held at Bhopal.
Mr Anindo Majumdar , Chief Secretary A&N Administration will be the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. Mrs Ankita Mishra Bundela, Secretary (Tourism) and Mrs Tanvi Garg, Secretary (Education & Sports ) A&N Administration have kindly consented to be Guests of Honor. Mr A.K. Trivedi, Director (Sports) A&N Administration would be the Special Guest.
