Port Blair, Mar 09: On 08/03/2017, a delegation s of Island Development Organization met the Mr. Anindo Majumder, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration and introduced its new governing body members. During the meeting various issues on island development and 1/30th pay of DRM, development of dairy activities, solution of encroachment, development culture andarts, and many other issues were discussed.
The Chief Secretary Mr. Anindo Majumder reportedly congratulated the newly elected governing body and appreciated for the contribution in development of the island in all sectors.
During the meeting Mr. BK Chauhan, President, IDO, Mr. Mohd Raffique, Vice President,IDO, Mr. Selvam, General Secretary, IDO and Mr. Arockia Raj, Treasurer, IDO were present.
