Port Blair, Mar 08: The last quarter final match of the “Unity Cup Volleyball Championship – 2017, season – IV was played on Wednesday. The Assistant Director Sports (DBRAIT), Sm,t. Morma Bharti and Ms. Ruby Thomas, Medical Officer, PHC Tushnabad were the chief guests on the occasion. In the match, Garacharma defeated Lee Boys, Haddo.
Four teams viz. TA Bihar, A & N Police, YFC Haddo and Garacharma qualified for the semi final matches to be played on 09th March’ 2017. Tomorrow, TA Bihar will clash with A & N Police. The final match of the championship will be played on 11th March’ 2017. The tournament is being organized by Youth Club Ograbraj in association with Gram Panchayat Mithakhari and sponsored by Islanders Margin Free Canteen (IMFC) Port Blair.
