Port Blair, Mar 06: Understanding the necessity of issuing AADHAR Number to the left out people of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the Civil Supplies department which had earlier halted in AADHAR Card issuing process has now restarted the process today, giving a huge relief to the left out people.
As per reports, since last two days the Civil Supplies Department was not issuing the AADHAR Number to the people as the UIDAI had blocked the system of the Department outsourced Private Agency for some reasons.
After the system of the outsourced Private Agency was blocked the Civil Supplies Department left no stones unturned and after number of Coordination with UIDAI started the process again just after two days.
Andaman Sheekha has also learnt that the Civil Supplies Department has also asked for some additional funds from the UIDAI to start the AADHAR enrollment process in all the 9 sectors in the North & Middle Andaman.
