Port Blair, Mar 05: Indian Yoga Association is launching all India, Niyantrita Madhumeha Bharat Abhiyaan (NMB), in collaboration with the Department of AYUSH Hospital, Govt. of India, New Delhi under the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for preventing the nation becoming the Diabetic Capital.
“5 days Training Programme of Yoga Volunteers Diabetics Management conducted from 23rd to 27th February 2017 at Hall of Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Junglighat and Vasumathy Yoga Clinic, Port Blair.
Dr. Rajesh .S.K., Research Officer from SYVSA, Bangalore, NMB Abhiyaan given introduction about the overall project. Mr. N. Sera Arasan, Managing Trustee, SAAHSWT appointed as a convener of NMB Abhiyaan given brief lecture about diet and modification of yogic lifestyle through practice of Asanas and Pranayama, Ms. Nandini, BNYS, SAAHSWT explained about the Parameters and specific diabetics Yogasanas and Mr. Gunasekhar, Sr. Research Fellow, NMB Abhiyaan explained about the Cyclic Meditation and its benefits among 20 YVDM Candidates. All the general publics are hereby advised to take part in the ongoing screening and the upcoming Camps of NMB Abhiyaan in Junglighat, Bathubasti, Manjeri, Guptapar, Nayasahar, Manglutan under South Andaman District.
