Port Blair, Mar 05: A Necklace worth Rs 50,000, which was stolen from a house at Namunaghar has been recovered by the Ograbraj Police Unit today.
As per reports, one of the family friends of the owner of the Necklace had stolen the necklace from his house yesterday.
The matter was reported by the owner of the Necklace yesterday itself and within 24 hours Sub-Inspector Randhir Singh and his team under the overall supervision of SHO Ograbraj Police Unit, Inspector Rizuan Hassan cracked the case and recovered the stolen Necklace.
The accused has been arrested and has also been sent to the Judicial Custody, it is learnt.
