Port Blair, Mar 03: The first ever petrol outlet of ANIIDCO was inaugurated at Lataw village, Mayabunder on 03.03.2017 by the Chief Secretary & Chairman, ANIIDCO, A & N Administration in the presence of Member of Parliament A & N Islands, MD ANIIDCO, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, N&MA, DC(N&MA), SP (N&MA), officers of IOC, Head of Departments, PRI members of Mayabunder and general public.
Addressing the gathering, the Member of Parliament, A & N Islands apprised the status of various on-going Govt. projects being implemented at present like bridge from Gandhighat to Uttara, under sea OFC, opening of milk collection centres at various locations by ANIIDCO.
The Member of Parliament informed that all the fishermen will be provided licence for storing petroleum products for their dinghies/boats which can be obtained from IOC directly.
The Chief Guest, Shri Anindo Majumdar, Chief Secretary and Chairman, ANIIDCO, A & N Administration unveiled the inauguration stone of ANIIDCO petrol outlet at Lataw village, Mayabunder.
While addressing the gathering, he stressed upon Swachha Bharat Abhiyan and urged the officers and PRI members to work with each other with coordination for the overall development of the North & Middle Andaman District especially in the field of tourism in the District.
The Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Mayabunder welcomed the Chief Guest, the Member of Parliament and other dignitaries and the Company Secretary-cum-General Manager(Admn.), ANIIDCO gave vote of thanks.
