Port Blair, Mar 02: Mr. Anindo Mazumder, Chief Secretary of A N Administration will open the new outlet (ANIIDCO’s Petrol Pump) at Mayabunder tomorrow at 10 AM in presence of Mr. B. P. Ray, the Member of parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The new outlet is having 20,000 liters storage capacity for each petrol and diesel. As per sources, the consumer of the region will be able to purchase petrol and diesel at the prevailing rate at Port Blair. The consumers of Mayabunder region will get Petrol @ Rs.61.27/- and Diesel @ Rs. 55.42 means Rs. 10.73 and Rs 6.58/- less than from any private outlets.
The A & N Administration had allotted 0.15 hects. Land at Deopur village under Mayabunder Tehsil to ANIDCO for setting up a retail outlet (petrol Pump) at Mayabunder.
After completion of all Codal formalities and installation formalities of 2 Nos. underground storage Tank of 20-KL capacity connected with 2 dispensing units each for PETROL & DISEL, the ANIDCO is going to open the New Retail outlet at Mayabunder tomorrow.
At present the Corporation is engaged in operation of 03 IOC, at Junglighat, Hutbay and Diglipur and 06 consumers Pumps in different parts of the Islands.
