Port Blair, Feb 20: The Principal of a local government run Senior Secondary School has served a Memo to one of the Physical Education Teachers of the School for allegedly calling a school girl in highly objectionable manner at night hours.
Sources further said that when the matter came into the knowledge of the Parent they immediately reached the school last week on Monday, Tuesday and even on Friday asking for an action against the Teacher.
When Andaman Sheekha asked about the aforesaid matter to the Principal of the School a couple of days back, the Principal said that the school doesn’t have any knowledge about this matter.
However now it is learnt that the girl has also given a complaint letter to the School Authority.
It seems that the School Authorities tried to save the Teacher in every possible way but due to huge pressure from the outsiders a meagre action has been taken against the teacher, it is learnt. Further details are awaited.
