Port Blair, Feb 08: National De-Worming Day will be observed in A & N Islands on 10th February 2017 following by Mop up Day on 15th February 2017 along with the rest of the country to De-worm all children between ages 1-19 years through Govt., Govt. Aided & Private School, Anganwadi Centers in order to improve their overall well being, nutritional status, access to education and quality life.
In order to effective implementation of National De- Warming Day on 10th February 2017 following by Mop up Day on 15th February 2017 to achieve 100% coverage of NDD a Press Conference will be held at conference hall of Directorate of Health Service on 9th February 2017 at 4.00 pm to sensitize Media Persons about National De- Worming Day.
