The Medical Superintendent of GB Pant Hospital Dr M Joy along with Nursing Sister Shakeela and Sanitary Outsourcing Staff accompanied Mr Naresh Chander Lal during the inspection.
In a letter addressed to Andaman Sheekha, Mr Naresh said that there are still some drawbacks in the hospital like lack of Aaya and ward boy and also lack of cleaning near the Mortuary where most of the wastes are dumped.
Mr Naresh further stated in his letter that he has discussed all the above mentioned issues with the DHS over phone, where he has asked the DHS to construct a RCC Dumping Yard with boundary so that the area will remain clean. DHS has assured Mr Naresh that the demand will be fulfilled at the earliest.
