Port Blair, Jan 17: On 09-01-2017, an awareness programme on “Ill Effects of Alcoholism” was conducted for the students of Govt. Senior Secondary School Swadesh Nagar by District Police of North & Middle Andaman. Shri. IngitPratap Singh, IPS Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District, Shri. George Lalu, SDPO Rangat, Shri. R.K. Mazumdar, SHO PS Billiground, Shri. S.K. Mazumdar, Vice Principal, Govt. Senior Secondary School Swadesh Nagar briefed the students about the ill effects of alcoholism in human body and society. The students also took pledge to desist from Alcoholism. About 300 students and teachers attended the awareness programme.
